Kill the enemy, get auto-recalled due to explosion- lose %

As i said in the title i just killed someone but his explosion made me auto-recall. Nothing strange so far but he got occupation for his faction while i obviously lost some. Doesnt seem logical to me.
It was at planet 484 around 09.05am.

As you have recalled before the end of the match, it was reported as a draw probably.

That's fine but why does the defender get a win then? Well, he'd got one if he hadn't died. Still he gained occupation on the planet despite dying first and only getting a draw because of his explosion.
I think in case of a draw noone should win/lose occupation

Because, through his death he was able to stop your attack. Though he died, and though it was technically a draw. He did stop your attack - and so I would call this a successful defence.
