Why were T2 Arty nerfed in the last big patch?

I'm genuinely trying to understand. I'm not a great player or anything, I just thought they were already overly expensive/unusable in competitive play. I'd love some explanation/replays to help me grasp the concept.

Yea, that is what I also thought. Building a fire base close to your opponent on certain maps and building arti turned out to be very effective.
