If you want a custom, simple "loading movie" for your nomads games, you can download this file and extract it in the movie folder of you Forged Alliance installation (for instance : D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\supreme commander forged alliance\movies)

btw how to render videofiles as .sfd? just render it as mpeg1?

No you need a special tool to convert a video to SFD. I haven't found a freeware version of such a tool but I did manage to find something that allows me to make SFD files. I'm not sure it's legal or not (took me a long time to find on some shady website) so I won't be sharing it. The input is MPEG 1 with some specific settings (took me a long time to figure that out aswell).

By the way, this video is basically a concept, not the final video.

due the unwillingness of my PC to render this directly into sfd, or with a normal quality to mpeg1, i uploaded the .wmv and the mpeg1 file at a filehostingpage

the current error message of the sfd creator is: "Can not get a frame data from a material file. Encoding aborted" whatever this means....
