Seraphine T2 shield upgrade balance intention

When you upgrade seraphin shield, its no way how to stop it... When you with missclick upgrade all shield, its economy crash for 7 minute.

here is video

Its suppost to have stop button, and remove pause button for every other shield, for not abuse for 99% upgrade and double shields

You are right, it does not have the pause button to pause an in progress upgrade. The others have it.

But similar to the other 2 shields, you can press "s" key to cancel any upgrades without affecting the shield status. Does this help?

i know but its supost to be same as other shield.. if not then its kind of bug.

I did a check, all 3 static T2 shields do not have a stop icon. However, they do respond to "s" key to cancel the upgrade. So that seems consistent.

For the pause button, only the seraphim T2 shield does not have it and so cannot halt an upgrade. All other upgradable structures including the other 2 upgradable shields have the ability to pause.

Thanks for the report. Fixed with this commit: https://github.com/FAForever/fa/issues/682.

As it turned out, Aeon T2 shields had the same issue.

However, I believe the Aeon T2 shield cant be directly upgraded to T3? As in gameplay wise

That's right, I forgot about that when looking at the issue :)

It shouldn't hurt allowing it to pause though.
