Co-Op Campaign Trouble [SOLVED]

First of all, Hello!

I am brand new to Forged Alliance Forever as of today!

I was very excited for the co-op campaign feature but we ran into some trouble;
I hosted the game, he joined. We changed no settings whatsoever. When I launched the map there was a civilian controlled Land Factory on the island in the bottom left (where you spawn in the single player version) and nothing else on the map.

Is there something I am supposed to do when hosting? Or something that we have to change the setting in-game lobby?

Not really sure how else to describe it.

there was a patch for FAF few days ago that broke coop mode. It should be fixed in next few days hopefully.
