game freezing and graphics glitch

30 sec into a ladder game my game froze, and I got a graphics glitch that was kinda like the wavy lines that used to happen on old tvs when you didn't have signal (but it wasn't colorful and it froze the screen instead of moving up and down). I couldn't do any orders or open chat. I minimized my game to tell the other player what happened, and then reopened the fa window which was just a black screen.

Do you not have a game.log file? That's what we'd need to have a chance at debugging this, unfortunately.

It appears to be a problem with communication between your client and your game.

I suggest you try reinstalling the FAF client. Also make sure no other double instance of it is running in the background.
