UI Flickering

Whenever I have anti aliasing enabled the UI including strategic icons and text will flicker randomly, fairly rapidly. It is quite annoying yet I choose to put up with it instead of sacrificing aa cause the game really does need it to look nice. This is when absolutely no mods (game or UI) are enabled. Things I have tried include deleting game prefs, a full reinstall, verifying the game cache and updating windows and graphics drivers. I am running a GTX 560ti on a i5 3330. Anybody have any ideas on what is causing the issue and some solutions to try? It just started happening at one point a year ago and never stopped since.

I'd assume this would fall on deaf ears seeing as there really is no other cases known of this issue except for a couple people having compatibility issues with windows 8 but I'm running 7.

just out of interest, does that only happen in fullscreen or also in windowed mode?

Just full screen the issue occurs. In windowed mode it is fine but I would hate to use windowed mode. Isn't its resolution crap? From a few posts I'm reading surrounding aa issues for other games it may just be an unfixable issue that has to do with my graphics card and its setup on my computer. I may be getting a new card soon so that could be a long term fix. It would suck if the problem isn't resolved after a new card though.

you can try using the fullscreen script tatsu made viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9778 as a workaround

Neat. Thanks for this. Once I'm back from vacation I shall try it out. Does the cursor still lock to the window? I would hate if this prevented side scrolling as i have a second monitor.
