Hover tanks are easily confused by movement orders. As soon as they receive one, they spin around their own axis before executing it. While the inertia of slower hover tanks like Auroras is present but less notable, faster tanks like Blazes become completely useless because their speed advantage is essentially nullified. Since most maneuvers include changing direction at least once while in enemy gunrange, I think this is a huge problem that should be addressed.
If I understood the balance approach correctly, Blazes are intended to serve as a makeshift counter to Mongooses and Hoplites. Said movement bug makes them totally useless though.
Riptides, Zthuees, Yenzynes, Absolvers and amphibious mobile shield generators are also affected by the same issue, but it shows less because their speed is lower and the other stats are better.
I would appreciate if developers and contributors could address the issue and improve hover tank handling. Please put this on github because I don't have an account.
