Just for what it's worth; Myself and my friend are having an identical issue. Plus another that's wholly unrelated to this.

OK well, it's been an entire day of waiting for a response. I really would have loved to play some forged alliance. Especially of faf. It seems as of nobody responds to help questions to get them resolved. This is the tech support Forum, and I get no support. I guess I'll be Un-installing and not even considering to play the game again, considering if you need support you are better off rubbing some sticks together.

Good day, and take care

The developers have been busy switching to a new server and dealing with all of the bugs that that entails. There are a number of systems down still.

A simple look at the forums would have shown you the following thread.

I also replied to your other thread with an explanation

Just like to confirm this is an issue for me as well. Received some sort of update and gave it a quick test to see if I could run games.
Also the BlackOps Mod aint listed, but that's rather minute compared to playing ^^'

I'll presume there will be an announcement on the forums when there's a fix/work around??

Thank you~

Well i got the same problem ... and btw putting all the major and minor issues and also questions into one thread
does seems a bit chaotic to me - at least there should be priority to people who cant play the game AT ALL
meanwhile the thread is flooded with things like "uhh color XYZ is missing" and stuff...

Guys "FA has failed to start" is easy to solve. for some unknown reason FAF lobby is NOT downloading all files it should download.
So here is how you fix it:

1 - Go to your Supreme Commander Forged Alliance folder ( where you have it installed ). if u have Steam version should be in this location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance

2 - Select all content inside the "bin" folder , copy it.

3 - Go to "C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin" and Paste all the content you have copied from FA forder. if appear a window asking for overwrite existing file select "copy and replace".

4 - Go to "C:\ProgramData\FAForever\lua" folder, copy all content ( there should be 7 files ), and paste on :
"C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin". A window Will appear asking for overwrite the existing files select "copy and Replace"

5 - Enjoy! =)

Hope i've helped

This issue will probably be solved automaticaly in a few days, but this is how i managed to fix it manualy.

Good Job Sheeo and visionik.

Tried your solution, and I got hit with a crash failsafe when I tried to make an Xtreme Wars and a Nomads game. Looks like I'm waiting until all of this gets fixed.
