Error updating

Postby spice » 07 Feb 2016, 12:35

So I tried downloading the new update, but FaF ends up hanging itself like this: http://imgur.com/6IoKhEW

I have a stable and decently fast internet connection, but for whatever reason it's super slow and eventually just hangs itself, usually at the 4-5 Percent Mark. I've tried running as Admin and the same deal happened.

I've established twice a remote comm usign teamviewer to two people having that issue, one was Norton Av, the other was Avira, bolth messing up the donwloads, just shutdown firewall and antivirus , download, install and then turn on that stuff

even better, in case of Norton, unless you have some professional reasons, uninstall it

I have Avast and MalwareBytes, Avast wouldn't mess up the download, since the download itself is just timing out.

there were 700 people playing on saturday, I've even went into the tourney and played a couple of matches.

current version of the FAF client is 0.11.46, md5 checksum of the file is
Code: Select all

you can use
Code: Select all
http://www.winmd5.com/download/winmd5free.zip
to check

if you have the correct file and you are 100% sure that your local software is not causing the issue, then please submit logs from
Code: Select all
C:\ProgramData\FAForever\logs
