Hi, i've change name and now my global chat dont work. My last name was t4000 and now MR_T4k but dont work. Ive reinstall faf.

ok, this is a workaround, not a fix, I am not certain how long it will last, but It can grant you acess by now to the chat :
the issue is, you nickname is not registered

go to https://client01.chat.mibbit.com/

press server, type faforever.com
on nick : type your faf username
leave Channel empty, press Connect


type the folowing :

/msg nickserv register PASSWORD email

where PASSWORD is a password of your choosing ex:25418a5asdffv483
email is your email ex:[email protected]

go to https://client01.chat.mibbit.com/

press server, type faforever.com
on nick : type your faf username
leave Channel empty, press Connect


type the folowing :

/msg nickserv register PASSWORD email

where PASSWORD is a password of your choosing ex:25418a5asdffv483

Same problem here, and the solution doesn't work.

When I try it, it won't let me connect, and says: "Please pick a new nick: "

If I pick a new nick, I obviously don't get to register my actual account name.

I have an ancient FAF account and I remember it's password, but the chat just doesn't start.

Ignore that "pick a new nick" there should be something like faforever.com on the upper left side of the screen click on that an then type /msg nickserv register (your password) (your email) .
