Ranked Points

Hello All.

For those who are playing ranked,

Are there any issues whereby points are not counted, whether be it you win or lose?
I am not sure if it is a bug, but I have been winning some games, and points somehow remained the same instead of increasing.
In worst cases, the points were deducted by huge amounts (like 11 points or more) even when I won?

How is this possible?
Would there be a fix to this?

I think it has to do with the deviation decreasing? i wondered that myself too after winning some games and losing a bit of points a while ago.

In the past week due to issues with the server/client change, ratings have been static for a while. Seems to be fixed in the meantime.

But I think that it is odd to lose points when you win games though? It has never happened to me before until recently?

That is probably some 20-30 points dropped out of nowhere in a day even when I won several games...

I won a custom game against a 1400 player and gained like 30 points (I'm 1200). When I played ladder against a player who was 954 or something I won also, but lost 3 points (my ladder rating is 1179 was 1182). For some reason, a few days ago ladder put me up against a 478 rated player who I beat and I gained 5 points(was 1177)... ( vs the 954 and 478 were the 2 most recent games)


now if I lost 2-3 points for beating a player who was lower rated than me but gained 30 for beating someone who was higher than me I can see how it would give me a reasonably accurate score after a lot of games, even though I think it is really stupid that someone would lose points for winning. But then why did I gain 5 points for beating a 478?

Also the game has no idea how hard it was for me to beat the players that I was put up against, so how can it decide whether or not I deserve to get rating or not.

Newer players are still having their rating judged by the system, so it just gives you a standard point gain instead of less points

I assume you were referring to the "478 player", fair enough

However, I played a 2 more ladder games (against the same 0 rated player, I guess it didn't register his defeat yet ), and now my score went up when I won, but my win ratio is going down. was 57%/58% now 55%, and I haven't lost any games, Ive won all of them. The ladder system is definitely bugged.

Just FYI the win ratio going down was from all the games Ive played and won, not just that one....

My team wins and points are deducted not added what is going on with that... Is ther anyone I can report this bug to
