Connection Issues: Portmapping error

Postby qwerkus » 08 Mar 2016, 14:34

Hello,

Still trying to figure out why I can't join/host fafa mp games since my new router arrived (fritzbox 7490). Here is what I found in the log:

2016-03-01 09:24:20,207 INFO fa.upnp UPnP mapping 192.168.1.102:6112
2016-03-01 09:24:21,612 INFO fa.upnp -> UDP mapping of 192.168.1.102:6112 to 192.168.0.2:6112
2016-03-01 09:24:21,622 ERROR fa.upnp Exception in UPnP createPortMapping.
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "src\fa\upnp.py", line 36, in createPortMapping
File "C:\Python27\lib\site-packages\win32com\client\util.py", line 84, in next
com_error: (-2147220984, 'A user-supplied component or subscriber raised an exception', None, None)

I tryied static port forwarding, using port 7002, but it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions would be very helpfull.

Thanks a lot,

first, you can set what port number you can use in FAF, on the menu Options -> Settings -> Game Port
if you configure your router to port forward UDP 7002, you must change that in FAF because default port is 6112, and you should disable Upnp in FAF also
