no activiation mail for forum account

Hi,

I just got a report by a user called G-Man in Aeolus that he gets no activation e-Mails for his forum account he tries to create. Logically the user he wants to create is called G-Man too.
Can somebody please have a look into that?
I guess the only way to get a hold of him is to join Aeolus and look if he is online.
He tried to create it two days ago it seems and he tried to do it more then once.

honestly... what the heck is going on with activation emails in this system? it seems like people have been saying they cant sign up for a year or more...
