Updated FAF now my personal SC changed? [SOLVED]

Hey any and all willing to help. I've Just downloaded the newest version of FAF now for some reason my personal /steam version wont let me play any games,

I have the lobby enhancement mod but everything is empty blank and or wont respond to any clicks say for instance the maps I pick are empty in the screen and i cant start any games, it just loads.

the FAF game works kind of OK

and I was wondering how can i get the newest version of Total mayhem, i tried the RAR version and it also caused problems so i deleted it.

UPDATE** Ive deleted all my mods, (nothing changed maps and player slots still are blank and wont respond) and plan to uninstall and reinstall SUPCOM ill post what happens after

Update #2 uninstalled and reinstalled and the issue persists my in game/steam lobby will not display maps nor respond to any ai slots etc,

Yes FAF is changing the version of your game. If you want to play on steam and FAF then you have to install the game 2 times on different locations.

This is not true, faf does not rewrite original files. Only thing that can be an issue is a file with settings. You might need one for faf and one for steam

OK currently i have nothing,.. just the steam version and the updated FAF, right now my steam version of SC still has the same issue, maps nor the ai slots will respond and are blank.you say its an issue with file settings? any suggestions on what to change/alter/delete.

I'm very confused as to how this even happened. I played earlier today,
took a nap, woke up went on with my day and came back, this time when i went to FAF it asked me to update i did, and afterwards i went into my steam version and thats when the problem happened.

I believe so yes, you know when u click nearly any app thats outdated and your computer hits you with that "this is the outdated version click here for an update" message box? that,

now i do remember downloading total mayhem 1.29 rar, but that was later, after a few online faf games that didnt turn out right which made me look for it, but either way, this lobby thingy didnt start until after i played and updated FAF,
now if it was the total mayhem, i deleted it and all its other folders, and then i even deleted all my mods, and uninstalled steams version and then re installed it, FAF works,.. i can start a game there, but total mayhem 1.20 and 1.29 are both buggy, but ik they arent on Steam (the one i call my personal SC) plus when it storms in MO my wifi can get knocked out which is why i sually play the steam and not the FAF in the first place, i play FAF when i do 20x20 maps because it takes longer to slow down and knocking out a base usually speeds it up.

Faf does not affect your original installation.
HOWEVER: faf can change settings file when you add templates hotkeys and stuff.
It can sometimes break things in your original instalation.
Can be fixed just by changing back settings that are not supported by original installation, for example of you choose color in lobby to new colors that faf added you will not able to play on original instalation until you change color back

THAT was it right there,.. i changed my color of my team and everything is working fine again, you guys are great!!!!
