Game is not starting when trying to join custom games

hello, my game is not starting when i try to join any custom games neither can i host. I can watch replays and everything but can't enter the lobbies.
when i double-click any custom game the regular updating box appears the green bar goes as usual but after that box is gone nothing happens.
PLEASE help ASAP
