Fiery Explosions Mod breaks game on startup

Here are the mods installed:

And here is what happens when I play with "Firey Explosions Beta"

It is just the Firey Explosions mod that breaks the game. The game runs fine with every other mod except that one. Is it outdated? If so, does anyone have updated copy of it? What's wrong with the mod?

You should take a look at the game.log (Or go windowed mode and hit F9 to see it in real time), and compare the error warnings with the code of the mod. Try to fix it :) The mod author is very rarely around any more to maintain it.

That's a lot of code I have to dig through. Anyway I can make it easier?
