Using pings in the current Beta causes desyncs and pings+marker are visible for the enemy as well as your allies.
Not sure if that is a known issue.

Just tested it again and the issue is still there (in the beta).
As far as i'm aware we had the same problem when rolling out the 3660 patch.

Tested in the development version.
Pings/Map Marker are visible to seemingly anyone. In the test i had Gieb, Mizer, Ban_ki_Moon and myself in the game.
Teams were Gieb+Ban_ki_Moon/Mizer+Myself.
Gieb only saw pings from Ban_ki_Moon but not his own.
Ban_Ki_Moon could see his own Pings.
Mizer saw Giebs stuff and mine but not his own.
I saw pings from Gieb and myself.
Pings/Marks did NOT desync the game however.

Yes i had the ecomanager enabled.
I'll just assume that everyone else in my testgame did the same.
Gonna test again with all ui mods disabled.

edit: Seems to work just fine with all mods disabled.

Pretty sure beta should be on top of current main game. Sounds like the updater messing up again. Please delete all .nx4 files from programdata/faforever/gamedata and re-try the beta, with EM mod. Should download fresh files.

Tested the beta again with all *.nx4 files deleted redownloaded and the ecomanager on and pings did desync the game and were visible for the enemy as well as myself.

Did some more testing today with the help of System_Failure.
Beta games get desynced when using marks/pings and they are visible to yourself as well as your enemy.
This is the case when i used the EcoManager, all my mods but the EM as well as no UI Mods at all.
System_Failure did not use any UI Mods in all 3 tests.
