FAF SC no expansion

Wonder if someone can help - I'm not using the FAF client but just FAF SC v 3661 however when playing missions the last two are not expanding at all?

I've looked to turn on log files but this doesn't appear to work - pressing F1 gives the key, so F9 is logging or SHIFT F9 for the lua logs, this key does nothing.

I'm currently doing Mindgames and this isn't expanding, however I'm still getting attacked from the non expanded area. None of the campaign missions are expanding.

Get FAF and download latest version of coop and missions from Coop tab

Do I need to keep the FAF client on after - it's not a machine I would like to keep stuff like that on really? Can I just run from the normal FAF folder under ProgramData and this would then use the updated missions.

errrm to be clear:
FAF folder in program data = FAF client

you can launch FA locally by executing the Forged Alliance exe in that folder (as you previously did), but I am not so sure if the coop missions will work properly without the coop mod (when you launch from the coop tab). What are the advantages of only using parts of the FAF client? This seems to be a lot of unecessairy fiddling with stuff that would easily work when you just use the full program.

I don't want to do COOP missions I'm trying to do the normal game missions but we play with the FAF modded version as it's pretty good, however when using this version our single player campaigns don't expand.

Not sure what you with Coop missions and standard missions, since they should be the same.

If you really don't want to use the faf client for whatever reason, then you could try this:

So I've updated the FAF client and FAF to the latest, but don't have the lobby client as I don't want this however still not getting expansion on missions, on meltdown you take the 4/5 areas and clear the landing area, brackman arrives and sets up however no expansion, the units start walking up from below, then you take a right battering from stuff you can't see.

I do want to do the missions with the FAF version we just don't use the lobby client as our firewall blocks this.

So if i understand this correctly. Then you have downloaded the client, but can't use it due to firewall issue?

Well then try this:

• download the latest release of the coop maps : https://github.com/FAForever/faf-coop-maps/releases
• save and extract them here \Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Maps
• then use these steps in 'How to test missions'
