Whenever I load FAF, it tells me that I need to link the account to steam, but I have already done that. I was able to play on this account before, and I don't know why I am unable to now.

Hi, I can see that your account has not been linked to steam. You're not the first one to claim to have done so but it didn't work.
However, no matter how many times I test, it always works for me.

Would you mind to record exactly what you're doing? I'd like to see it with my own eyes before I believe it ;)
