Can't login after updating FaF.

So i go a new PC last week and downloaded FA then FaF but whenever i tried to start FaF it would only get to around 5% before stopping completely. however after re downloading the FaF installer today i was finally able to get past it. however when i entered my log in info it said my info was wrong so i reset my password and log in and it worked. only to receive an error and FaF would not start, this time when i tried to log in with the new password it said my login info was once again wrong and now it will not even let me log in.
So is there a fix for this problem/Is it known. and how can i fix it?
