Game freezes on online games

Postby Mrrudolph93 » 28 Feb 2017, 02:06

Just like that, the game freezes right at the start of any online game I play. No problems playing against AI, but in ladder games I get stuck on the "connecting" or "Setting up automatch" screen, and in lobby games when the games starts the game freezes before the ACUs spawn, but seeing the map already.

The worst thing is that the game freezes for everyone in the room but I am the only one that can't see the chat or anything else.

I tryed switching UPnP, disabling my antivirus, and compatibility modes with win 7 and 8.

I don't know hot to attach any error log since the game doesn't give any error, just freezes and I have to close it with the task manager, and in ladder it doesn't even starts in much cases. I'll look for it.

Sorry for the english, not my first language.

Did you read this? (3rd link of the red text)

It should clearly explain how you can get the logs.
If you still don't know how to get the logs, then please explain what part you don't understand.

I reinstalled FA and FAF, and cleared the cache. Now it just shows "FA has failed to launch", even in local games.

The game runs only from steam, but doesn't let me play skirmish neither. The log:

(17.26 KiB) Downloaded 44 times

From the ingame menu it freezes loading in any game. I don't know, maybe it's a mod, or a permission problem.

I don't think it's firewall, since I've tryed disabeling it.

Thank you for the link, helped a lot.
