Cannot host games

Well, I've been a fan of FAF for a long time, unfortunately I've been plagued with issues a lot of that time. Gave up for a long while, probably 3 years ago, and I just came back after my old hard drive kicked the bucket, and I lost all of the data that could possibly be relevant to FAF. For the first 3 or 4 matches, it worked flawlessly. Actually made my day. However, the first issue has come around, and I just don't have the time to fix it myself.
Long story short, I can select any game mode I want, and try to host. Wee 'lil window comes up, probably saying it's loading something, but it's gone long before I have a chance to read anything it says. After that, nothing happens. If I choose a game mode I haven't done before, it'll take a bit longer while it downloads the files, but same result. The game just never pops up. Once or twice it has, but it never makes it past the "Connecting..." part. I forget if the logs provided were with or without mods, the issue happens whether or not I use mods, in any combination with the game modes. I saw something about an error somewhere in the logs, hopefully it's something simple. I went ahead and censored my IP 'cause that's probably irrelevant info. Left the port uncensored just in case it's less irrelevant.

you could try to rename your game.prefs file and see if that helps (when FA doesn't find it it will create a new one with default settings)
path for the game.prefs file

the game.log wont help you as it is a client/downloader problem. No need to post that also the tip with the game.prefs file wont work most probably.

I have no idea whats the actual problem here, but a possible solution might be to try and clear your game files. Open the client and click

Right before I went to bed last night, I tried clearing the game files, cache, and settings. Didn't help. This morning I got up, and to my dismay another issue has spawned.

Well, I managed to fix that last one by clearing the settings, and somewhere down the line the original issue went away. Although, I need to clear the settings every single time I start FAF or the most recent issue will recur.
