UEF vanilla Campaign : 1st mission unhandled exception

Well, it crashed shortly after Zach speech, i wasn't able to complete the first objective: i only placed one mex, then the error window poped up and asked me to abort game

Sooo.... is it illegal to start building mexes BEFORE Zach give us the objective?

Does it crash without the mods?

So? without mods, it works well. I must have an outdated UI mod somewhere.. Sorry for disturbing you for such futile things

I think it's EcoManager. It seems to crash the game if it tries to upgrade a mass extractor to a level you don't have access to.

ecomanager doesn't crash the mission for me

Do you have it set to start the mex upgrade from T1 to T2? That's when the error happens, and it crashes for me 100% of the time I let EcoManager try upgrading a mex above a mission's allowed level. That's the case for any coop mission that doesn't allow T3 mexes.

edit:
ok i managed to reproduce the error: it seems like the Mex upgrade optimization option causes it (i usually just use the upgrade-pause feature)
for now i recommend just not using that option in the coop missions
