"Removing UPnP port mappings" takes a while

Every time I close the FAF client It shows the message "Removing UPnP port mappings" in a window for about 10 seconds.
It would be a small issue but means I have missed out on games due to the extra time it takes to reFAF.
Is this normal and can I fix it?

6112 UDP is the default port needed for FAF
the ui of every router looks different so i suggest you google for instructions for your router
