Unable to connect to modded games.

[MurderInc]

whenever I attempt to connect to modded games, nothing happens after the download of any necessary files.....the game does not load. lobby still works but no game. Also I can host a modded game and I can join unmodded games.

the game log said this, Im thinking this is the issue, but how do I fix it.

please post the log file

downlords java client writes the log into the downlords-faf-client.log file located in C:\ProgramData\FAForever\logs\ so if you have an issue with the java client please attach that log to your post
if you use the python client (the regular client) then post the forever.log file

Possible reasons why the client cannot put the mods where they should go:
- Your user permissions for the mod folder are messed up because you ran the client as admin in the past.
- Your antivirus prevents FAF from putting files where they should go.

looks to me like you use mods that are not in the mod vault
if you want to play with sim mods that are not available in the mod vault you need to have them installed manually before joining the lobby
the permissions for files/folders can be changed in the windows explorer by right clicking on the folder/file you want to change and then click on properties
make sure the game.prefs file and the mod folder are NOT set to "read only"
