Never received activation email for FAF account [SOLVED]

I picked up FA a short time ago from humblebundle because it was on sale. I wanted to uses FAF mostly to make mods and maps easier to download and so I can have whatever balance patches you guys work with. I've tried to make an account for FAF but I haven't gotten an activation email at all. I've tried multiple times both with this username and also once or twice with "IANF1" as a user name just in case there was an issue with that. I put the support and admin faf emails in my address book and checked my spam folder and tried again. Still nothing. Earlier today someone in the discord said they would ask a guy with server access but I haven't heard anything back yet.

been checking the spam folder. I'm not getting an email at all.

Had some really stupid setting on my email account that i never touched that apparently caused any messages marked as spam to be deleted instantly without my knowledge of their existence.

If a mod or someone could lock this as "solved" that would be great.
