Unable to Watch Downloaded Replays Or From Vault

If I watch a replay from the online vault, it loads up a replay from a game different than the one selected. In fact, it's a game that was played over 2 years ago. It seems to be pulling it from my HD somewhere but I'm not sure where. Under the normal FA replays folder, only LastGame.SCFAReplay exists... no other files. And that is not the replay that ends up playing.

If I download the desired replay from the online vault and play that, it loads up FA but stops at the main menu.

I tried moving this downloaded replay file to the FA replay folder but the game doesn't find it. It is looking for extension .SCFAReplay but the FAF replays are saved with .fafreplay extensions. I tried renaming the file to match the extension. The game finds the file then but has an error when it tries to load the replay.

I am able to view live replays but nothing from the vault.

Any ideas?

FAF stores your replay files in C:\ProgramData\FAForever\replays\

ProgramData is a hidden folder in windows; you can find it by copy pasting the path into the explorer, enableing the option for showing hidden folders in the windows explorer or by using the option in the faf client to open the replay folder location

trying to run steam/retail fa replays with FAF and vice versa doesn't work

Ok. I turned on logging and took a look at the file. In the forever.log file it shows that it loads the replay from the cache folder, temp.fafreplay to be exact. This was the old file that any replay attempt would load. I renamed the file and tried to load a local replay.... IT WORKED! I then went to the online vault and tried one there and that worked too!

Not sure why but the old temp.fafreplay file was not being overwritten if that is what it is supposed to do. It seems to be working fine now.

I'll attach the forever.log anyway, just in case there's something goofy in it.
