Steam Account link not working

Hello, today I created FAF account and can't finish verification with Supreme Commander, the FAF site can't see it in my steam account.

Attaching screen with error and game running in Steam. Can add any additional info if needed.

make sure your steam profile is set to public when linking your faf acc to steam
otherwise the api cannot check whether or not you actually have the game in your inventory

if the linking does not work despite the profile being set to public then please pm me your faf acc name, a link to your (public) steam profile and the time you tried to link the faf acc to steam so i can ask one of the admins to take a look

Switched to public steam account and it worked, so what's the point of steam api request if it doesn't work ?

the API is there so we don't need to have a human being being sitting there to manually check whether or not you have the game and even more important so that you don't have to give your login info to someone else than steam
once your faf acc is linked to your steam acc you can set your steam profile back to private/friends only again if you want to
