Not connecting to team account on registration

Hi,
I'm trying to set up my FAF account and want to connect it to steam.
I'm getting this notice :

Error! You do not appear to own Supreme Commander Forged Alliance on Steam.

I asure you that it is there.
Described in steam as : Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance

Can you help?

Is your steam profile set to public?

I've just tried setting everything to public, but this does not change the result. The error is the same.

try logging out and in on the faf website and deleting the session cookies for papi.faforever.com before trying to link again

you can manage cookies in chrome as explained here and in firefox by pressing shift+f9 iirc
