Registration Problem [SOLVED]

When I try to create a FAF account, I do not get the validation email, even though the registration page says "Successful" registration. I have checked JUNK mail, and other email boxes.

Any help would be appreciated!

Im having the same problem here. I tried to register but recieved no mail. I checked the spam folder and whitelisted the faforever domain.

Same problem here.
A friend of mine tried it.
No E-Mail came after a day.
I tested it with another email provider, same problem.
And I can use the same e-mail and username to registrate again.

@Edit:
I heared in Discord, that the Mailserver is burning, because they need to send every account a E-Mail according the new EU-Privacy-Rules (GDPR).

Hi,

Our email server is currently at peak with sending GDPR emails which causes the registration emails to either be delayed or not going out at all.
I can manually create or update accounts if you want me to, just let me know for each user:

1. Username
3. SHA-256 of their password (they can generate it here: https://passwordsgenerator.net/sha256-hash-generator/)

Send the information to [email protected] from the email associated (or to be associated) with the account.

I just changed the way how we send emails, account creation should work again now.

Please make sure to check your spam folder and mark the mail as "not spam" to help us getting recognized by spam filters.

Now I get the following error when I click the validation link in the email:
