Client disconnection

Postby Hush » 03 Aug 2019, 22:36

Hi,

So when downlords client became the official one I moved over to it but anytime i tried to launch a replay or join a game not only would the fa.exe take a very long time to load (sometimes upwards of 10 mins), i would be disconnected from the client and attempt to reconnect made which would freeze the client until re connection occurs. This would happen several times in the space of a few minutes, so I gave up and moved back to python where i did not have any further issues.

However, as of last update to the python client, the issue has now reappeared so i moved back to downlords 20 mins ago to see if it had been resolved there. I still disconnect after waiting for a fa.exe to load but it doesn't take as long to load as before and immediately reconnect. Currently watching a replay via the client and 2 disconnects have occurred in the past 5-ish mins.

https://imgur.com/a/E1R7DJP - Downlords client disconnect, the fa.exe opened shortly after this was taken

Again, this only happened to python today. Logs attached.

I hope you can help!

Thx

I've cleanup your logfile so its easier to see whats going on.

There seem to be sporadic disconnects all over place:
- Chat
- Mod updating
- Game updating

Can you make some kind of packet/connection loss test when these issues appear, over several minutes, with a non FAF server?
Like entering "ping -n 100 8.8.8.8" in cmd or something.
