Every time I play on the new client, I get a grey screen

I came back to FAF recently. The game plays fine, but when it ends, I get a grey screen. I can't shut down FAF at all, either through the task bar or Task Manager. I can't minimise the grey screen either. So essentially I need to restart my PC each time I play.

No one in the client chat room seems to care. Obviously I can just stop playing but does anyone know how to solve this?

First of all you can try to run game in windowed mode, so you should be able to open task manager and close game when problem happens.

You can also send logs and tech-support people will look at logs and maybe see something there.

also at what point EXACTLY do you get grey screen? after pressing score button?

I'm messaging you rn but you're ingame. If we miss each other, here's what I wanted you to do :

I need you to go to C:\ProgramData\FAForever\logs .

If the last game you played was a crash like you described, then I want you to upload "game.log" to either this forum or another site, or you can paste it into https://pastebin.com/ .

This log might be able to tell us what's wrong.

Thanks, guys. So I just played a game and it did not have a grey screen but I did have to use Task Manager to close it at the end.

When I leave the game at the end. "Exit to FAF".

Make sure that you are NOT using surround sound. Turn this off in your pc's audio settings

Thanks! Not sure what GAZ UI is but how exactly do I delete it? I can't see anything relevant in either my Supreme Commander directory or my FAF client directory.

This is where the mods folder is, where gaz would be.
