FAF won't find game path

I downloaded FAF today and that was all fine.

But when it comes to the game path I can't add the FA exe. If I browse and go in through the folders to find it in the steam directory but the folder it's in just appears as empty to FAF, and if I type out the file path the "finish" button remains greyed.

I restarted FAF in administrator mode and the issue remained. I have SupCom and FA through steam (technically gamersgate but it just installed itself through steam anyway).

The file path I'm trying to use is:

D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\bin\SupremeCommander.exe

It's the FA exe I checked it by running I'm just a bit stumped on getting it all running

- It asks for a folder (it's written twice), not a file, that's why it doesn't list files.
- It asks for the path of the game, not the path of your .exe.

So, in your case, just browser to or enter
D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance

And you are done.

I'm having the same issue-- the difference is that even when I've specified the game path the "finish button remains greyed out. I looked through and even though FAF is installed on Steam, the actual folder is just located in program files (x86). I've tried just straight up shifting it into steam/steamapps/common etc. but this also has done nothing. Any other suggestions?
