that all sounds weird. But to be honest, I dont think we loose a huge playerbase on steam

those people who buy it there now, werent interested in the game till now, and just play it, cos its on steam
They wont play a long time online anyway.
Steam probably checks the installations, like it always did. And why should the general steam user play on FAF? hes new to the balancing, and will use the implemented matchmaking.
