Mouse Cursor disappearing/Exception Access Error!!!

This keeps happening in every game i play, i have tested this out multiple times with/without mods, custom maps. The result is the same every time, after about the 1 minute mark my mouse cursor will disappear in game but show up as soon as i tab out. My mouse is wired so its not a connectivity thing and works perfectly out of game. Please help, this makes it impossible for me to play any game productively for longer than a minute.

Are you playing in windowed mode or full screen?

This sounds like you are running in full screen mode but you may have the log window open. The game covers the log and there is no way to see it even if you alt-tab. When you move your mouse pointer over the area where the log window is occupying your cursor turns from an arrow to the bar looking character: |

So it may appear that your cursor is disappearing but instead is hovering over text. Next time this happens hit F9, this opens/closes the log window.

I am running in fullscreen, i will try what you said and see if it fixes it

So it disappeared again when i launched a game, but i used f9, however the mouse cursor still disappears when toggling the log window with f9. Also my interface seems to be all messed up, with all the menu items missing letters and even the cheat menu missing letters. Not sure what this is. I also had an unhandled exception the next game, attached is the log.

Well from log, specifically near the end of it, there are 2 errors that I can see. The first is that it cannot find some textures. The textures of interest are not part of the FAF files, rather they are the original files in your Steam installation. Perhaps you have a corrupted data file. Specifically check textures.scd, it should be located in \Steam\steamapps\common\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance\gamedata

I have the installation from the DVD copy and my file size is 505 MB (530,031,023 bytes).

If you get a file size mismatch you may want to consider reinstalling FA.

The second issue I see in the log is a Direct3D error. This may have been caused by the missing texture, but to be on the safe side, make sure your video card drivers are up to date.

So i went ahead and checked the textures.scd and it is the exact same size as you said right down to the byte. I also went and verified the game cache with steam and all files were verified. My graphics card is an 870m and im on the latest driver 347.09 so that cant be the problem. I am currently completely reinstalling forged alliance seeing if that might fix the problem. Also, when i got the unhandled exception error it was an Exception_Access_Error, do you know what that means?

So i have no idea how to fix this as ive tried everything I stated above and also completely uninstalled my graphics drivers and updated to the most recent ones. I cant play any FAF or vanilla FA and i cant figure out why. Please someone help, i need my FA fix!

Does this error even occur if you run FA without FAF (just start FA using the Steam shortcut or desktop shortcut)?

I played some games yesterday and everything was fine... Today I installed the FAF update and I have the same issue as mentioned above but ONLY when I play with other players... In a game with me vs Sorian AI I don't have the Issues
