Sound issues... [SOLVED]

The only sound that comes through my speakers in game is music. i dont get any of the special FX, no gun fire, no "commander under attack" etc. my sound options in game are all up to 100%. i dont know what else to check or where to go. its driving me crazy!! pllease help!

I think I remember BRINK said in once of his casts that he had the same issue. Perhaps ask him directly.

I've had this pop up a couple of times, its been awhile though... I recall fixing it by deleting the "game.pref" file, which is either in faf's folder or in FA's, don't remember which.. regardless in my experience it usually has to do with some part of that file being read wrong, deleting it causes the game to generate a new one (just make sure you start the game to do this in singleplayer before heading into a match since a bunch of options will be reset)

I've had this issue a few times, just rebooting fixed it though.
