Acount activation Mail

i registered for a FAF Account about 6 hours ago and I still got no Mail for the Activation... Spam filters etc... allready checked...

Any suggestions?

I knew it can take some time to recieve email, but 6 hours is quite a long time.

i heard that some email provider were "banned" to avoid smurf account, maybe a problem of email provider ?!

Added several temporary email providers to the board's exclusion list. If you have been affected by this measure please contact a moderator through the FAF client.

Still nothing The mail provider would be gmx.at... I am not sure on how to contact a moderator through the FAF client?

You can join the IRC even without a faf client with server: faforever.com, channel: #aeolus (you have to register your nick first by doing /msg nickserv register blablabla).

However the best way to get tech support is still the tech support forum since that's the forum that's monitored by the people who can help you with this issue.

The email providers mentioned above are banned for creating forum accounts and should not affect your ability to create an FAF account. However, in the past there's been issues with people using a Yahoo email because Yahoo flagged everything FAF related as spam. There might also be a delay in receiving the email but 2 days seems long. I will link this thread to Sheeo and have him take a look.

Hey Loikas,

In the future you will get replies faster in you post in the tech support section of the forum

I'll investigate if we have had any issues with our email provider, in the meantime, you can trigger a resend of your activation email by simply trying to sign in with the account on the client.

Hello, I see in the forums that others have had this problem. I cant seem to obtain this validation code for FAF that I so desperately need lol, can someone help? Ive checked spam and everything. It has been 2 days
