Routing issue [SOLVED]

Routing issue

Pls refer to screenshot.

When I log into FAF now, I get reported as logged from NZ.

Thought it was simply a flag bug, but it turns out, my connection is really laggy, which almost never happened in 5 years. I didn't change location.
It looks like for FAF, my packets are really routed through NZ somehow.

But I just did a visual trace route to faforever.com, and it doesn't go through NZ at all.

So where should I look up for a reason for that shit ?

EDIT : I just realized it must be some fucked up routing with my new ISP, since it's P2P connections once game starts. If I could understand why Im reported as NZ, that would help him to scold my ISP :)

Just posting here as a follow up (I talked in PM with V).

He is mistakenly being routed through the US, which isn't something we can do anything about.

The GeoIP database has been updated as part of the network update, and your country should show up properly.


I hope you have luck with getting your ISP to choose a better peering deal :)
