Petition to remove the dark blue player colour

Since I didn't find a dedicated topic for this, I'm making a case here for removing the dark blue player colour. It is very hard to read the strategic symbols on such a dark background. We have enough other colour options to not be needing this one.

It is also difficult to read the strategic symbols on the purple color.

You're right, the purple's not quite as bad, especially not from high up zoom but it's definitely got contrast issues as well.

Yea i agree darkblue is horrible to watch, you just dont know what unit it is until you're zoom enough to see it without symbols

since there already is a new color (aeon order green) being added to the game we might as well add some more/remove the ones that are too dark
any nice suggestions for fancy colors?

ah yes the colours argument, this is sure to become a disaster in a couple of pages, people get really defensive about their colours xD
i personally wouldnt mind these changes, but experience shows this leads to a lot more complaints than balance!
well lets see how this goes i guess.

I czeched the colors, the top one (currently used) claims to be "the UEF blue" while the true UEF blue (that is in the campaign) is the second one, slightly brighter to make the difference. I never really had problems seeing icons there. It should be still different enough from the other blue that is currently in game (the last picture).
