Lower rating cutoff for ladder with new players

Hi,

I'm a 1200 ladder player and get matched to new players often, I'd say at least 1 in 4 times. Some of them quit immediately when they see my rating. I wonder how many of these people ever try again to play ladder. The ones that do play, I give them tips, explain why the first games are unbalanced, hopefully they stay. In either case, for myself, after I had such a game, I do not search ladder for while, I don't want them to again be matched against me. So also I play less ladder because of it.

This has been discussed many times, I know. But can we just do a rating cutoff of 800 or so, for players with rating <200 to be matched against?
