Last few days much spam thread were opened. Maybe you can change the capcha ( I know, that recapcha is commercial).
My native language is not english, please correct me, because I want to improve my skills # Resource Overview

any ideas for something to replace the current safety question?
I dont have a real idea:
- it must be easy
- but not "obvious" for a bot
tell your suggestions

AntiCapcha is a race between bots and hoster ...
reCaptcha is very safe ...
Other solutions are more expensive ...

You could have a randomized question about the game that is easy for anyone who plays or has google, but would be near impossible for the bot to figure out....
Random pick from 5 questions such as
What is the name of the cybran t1 assault bot? "mantis"
What is the faction color for Aeon? "green"
What is the abbreviated name for the command unit? "ACU"
Not sure how that would work out, but I would bet that no foreign posters or bots would be able to come up with answers to that.

Neither could people that have problems starting up games with FaF... :/

Show an unreadable captcha, and a big red text saying "ignore the captcha, just write 'random-string' into the textfield"... that worked for years on my own forum.

but for a popular site like faforever,
which already has a unique anticaptcha ...
