I guess everybody knows the issue of units being sorted by type and also transported together in type groups when using the ferry command. In 99% of the cases when you do an assault landing you don't want this. Especially when you want to deploy a force that consist of mobile shields and other units. Having all your mobile shields clumped up and your other units left without cover makes no sense.
So from a even distribution like in picture 1 (6 LAB, 6 tank, 6 MAA, 1 engie, 6 scout and 6 arty) you get nicely sorted groups like in picture 2. It would be infinitely better, if the unit types would be evenly distributed over the transports, so in this case you would get 1 LAB, 1 tank, 1 MAA, 1 engie, 1 scout and 1 arty per t1 transport. This way you don't lose all your say MAA when the transport that carries those gets shot down. Also this way you don't have the problem of unit type B being transported only once all units of type A have been covered. This is particularly annoying when you do not have enough transports to carry all of the units of type A in one go. Your landing might happen without any units of type B this way, completely disintegrating your composition. I wonder if this might be possible to implement? Ideally you would have the choice between sorted and evenly distributed transporting. Any ideas?
