I have a few suggestions that me and my friend think would make FAF better.
First is a "Draw" button that if everyone pressed it would be counted as an unranked game and it would end. This would be useful in case the round is going too long, there's too much lag (CPU or Internet), or if a player disconnects.
My second idea is a time limit on a game that would be set in the lobby and at the end of the time the game would end and the player (or team) with the highest score would win. This would be nice for when you might not want to start a game that might last an hour or longer so you could set it to however much time you have available.
Thirdly is a better management for when someone disconnects from a game. I think it should be easy enough to tell when a player disconnects BEFORE being defeated and if they do, their commander definitely DOESN'T explode and you could set it to either share units (like "share on death") even when "share until death" is on and the commander would turn into a support commander or you could set it to turn the com into an AI to finish the game with all the disconnected player's units.
The last idea I have is to have a 4v4 auto match. I think it should be easier to get into a 4v4 game than it currently is. One feature that should also be added for this to work better is a way to make sure that your friend and you can get in the same game on the same team.
What does everyone think of these? They might be a little hard to code but they all seem very possible to me.
